MP3 Knife is a brilliant tool used for extracting audio clips from MP3 songs. Thou it only saves the extracted sound clip to MP3 format it is very easy to use. Just open the desired MP3 file, point to the starting point in the timeline and then select the part where it stops (ending part) and finally click on save to save the selected audio.
To understand better Vicky’s software site provides a video clip explaining how to use the application; even is a simple tool this is very helpful if whatsoever there are any doubts left. It is great for making ringtones of your favorite songs.
This is the fastest tool in the freeware category which has ability to extract long MP3 clips in seconds. It is so simple that only three steps can extract the clip: "start", “end" and "save". Furthermore it maintains the original bitrates and the clipping is done without compressing or decompressing keeping the quality of the audio same as the original.
